I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World

Chapter 232 - The Regulators' Plan

Exactly as it sounds, cryosleep is the process of putting people into cold sleep via freezing their bodies to low temperatures in order to effectively preserve it with the hopes of reviving them in the future.

It was a good choice for people with incurable diseases to choose.

However, humans have only achieved the first half of the step.

Without succeeding in the latter half of the goal, the process was no different from simply freezing people to death and putting them to eternal slumber.

Albion found it intriguing that the Iceborn Wolf Tribe has mastered this technique and silently labeled the Iceborn Wolf Tribe as an invaluable asset—not only to him but to the whole.

If the world knew about it, no one would ever try to kill them. In fact, everyone would try to get their hands on at least one tribesman for themselves.

There were some things in the world that even Albion was helpless against—incurable diseases.

They were called incurable diseases for a reason—but, of course, the incurable diseases in Albion\'s dictionary were different from the rest of the world.

Albion might possess the knowledge and methods to treat incurable diseases, but it was meaningless if he does not have the ingredients needed to concoct the medicine for it.

Sometime later, Old Giza returned with a group of droids carrying the fifty servings of food packed neatly into thermo-lunchboxes.

"My Lord, the food is ready," Old Giza informed.

"Great! Bring them with me back to the ship," Albion nodded and calmly said, "I\'ll be returning to Earth to finish some unsettled businesses."

"Understood, my Lord."

Old Giza complied.

After Albion spared some words to some people and bidding farewell, he promptly left with Fenriri under countless gazes.

Many guests wanted to speak to him, but they were at a loss for word, plagued with hesitation and indecisiveness due to a dilemma.

They feared that they would annoy the Dark Lord further by interrupting his business.

Eventually, Albion and Fenriri boarded Polemos\'s personal spaceship with their boxed food and departed—just as another starship arrived at the dock on Damocles.

"Esteemed Regulators, welcome to Damocles," a 2-star officer greeted politely before introducing herself, "I will be your guide during your visit here and will lead you to the venue of the banquet."

"We would like to meet with Emperor Polemos first and extend our thanks to him for his timely assistance," Ceone requested with similar respect.

"This…" the 2-star female officer hesitated slightly before she stated, "I can only inform the emperor and see if His Majesty is willing to meet with you, Esteemed Regulators. You see, the emperor is currently occupied with alien matters."

"That\'s fine. We can wait until the emperor is free," Ceone did not press the matter and followed up with a question, "Is there a dress code for the banquet? We would like to request your finest stylist and makeup artist to transform us."

"There is! I will call them over for you, Esteemed Regulators!" the 2-star female officer\'s eyes lit up before she spoke excitedly, "The two Esteemed Regulators are already very beautiful."

"I\'m sure that once our finest stylist and makeup artist help you transform into your new outfit and appearance for the banquet, both of you will quickly steal the limelight of the banquet."

"Thank you."

Ceone nodded.

Shortly after, she followed the 2-star female officer\'s lead with Cetwo at her side.

Nevertheless, she still furrowed her brows slightly, thinking the 2-star female officer\'s flattery was too much of an exaggeration—almost to the point of bootlicking.

No one can steal the True Immortal\'s limelight in his presence.

"Question; do you really think we can convince the True Immortal to follow us back to the Federation\'s headquarters to meet the Federation Leader?" Cetwo quietly inquired.

"Answer; according to what we have recently observed, the True Immortal always have the company of at least one female—ignoring however young they may be. From this, we can understand that the True Immortal is promiscuous with a softer heart for the tender sex. Or in order words, the True Immortal is a pervert and sexually driven.

"With the superior genes that we were born with through genetic engineering, once we follow this world\'s latest fashion trend and seduction techniques, there\'s a high chance that the True Immortal will completely fall for our honeytrap and become heads over heels for us," Ceone explained.

"Doubts; information also shows that the True Immortal, or rather, the Dark Lord, has always been single and never in a relationship nor touched a woman. Suggestion; perhaps, we are too hasty in our observation and need to rethink our plan, Ceone?"

"Denied; Ceone admits that there is a large margin of error in judgment for the plan. However, the True Immortal is a being that is even above our own Interdimensional Federation Leader, a Demigod."

"Nothing we have is exciting nor tempting enough to invite the True Immortal back to the Federation\'s headquarters besides our beautiful appearances. Although there\'s a chance of failure, the honeytrap plan is likely to be the only chance we have at having the True Immortal agree to our request."

"Should we can fail, we can strategize our next plan with the information obtained from our failed attempt. However, I pray it will not come to that. We still have 4 weeks before the mission\'s deadline, but it is not a lot of time. As such, we should start with plans that give us the best chances at succeeding, Cetwo."

"Understood, Ceone."

Seeing how Ceone has spoken so much, Cetwo could only agree to follow through with the honeytrap plan they came up with.

Sometime later, a red and blue peacock arrived at the banquet.

The outfit designs for the Regulators were supposed that of red and blue phoenixes, but it mostly resembled a fancy peacock to the observers.

Coupled with their white geisha masks, Ceone and Cetwo\'s unique appearances quickly grabbed everyone\'s attention with mixed feelings.

It was a little over the top but not exactly out of place—quite matching for an event full of people in various costumes and masks, whether it was good or bad.

But if their present appearances were worn outside of the event, it was hard to say what others would think.

Mostly weird, probably.
